What are you looking forward to this year? Homecoming is one of my 
favorite times of year, and the parade never gets old. Seeing students rushing 
over from the dorms, families making the trip back, and alumni reliving their 
college days all in one place has this energy that's hard to describe.
This year I'm excited to flip the script. I've always been the student just showing up 
and soaking it in, and now I want to be behind the scenes creating that experience 
for others, especially first-years who are just starting to fall in love with it.
As a fifth-generation Hawkeye this feels really personal to me. I want students to 
realize that the community they're building right now is something they'll carry long 
after graduation.
