Own a piece of Homecoming history! We're auctioning off a small number of limited edition 100-year celebration pins.
Bids began Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 8 a.m. and ended at noon on Sunday, Oct. 27.
Starting in 1924, the tradition of Homecoming buttons began with each year featuring a unique design that reflected the vibrant Hawkeye spirit of that time. Over the last century, these buttons have become cherished collector's items for Hawkeyes worldwide, each celebrating the University of Iowa's rich history and cherished traditions.
In celebration of this remarkable 100-year journey, the 100-year enamel pin honors the 1924 button design, merging tradition with a modern touch for the centennial.
How to participate in the auction
- Bidding started Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 8 a.m. and concluded at noon Sunday, Oct. 27. The auction is now closed.
- The auction will appear on "GovDeals.com" - you will need to register for an account to bid.
