The University of Iowa University of Iowa

Homecoming Week at the University of Iowa is about coming together as a community (students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members) in black and gold and celebrating being a Hawkeye. We would like to invite

The Homecoming Parade is an annual tradition that unites students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members across the Iowa City community. Each year we welcome Hawkeye Alumni back home to IC and celebrate the 15,000 spectators that come from around the world to watch the parade. The Homecoming Parade is a time to celebrate being a Hawkeye! With fancy floats, and guests of honor riding in corvettes, to student & community organizations & University of Iowa Departments flaunting their school spirit— The Homecoming Parade is an event NO Hawkeye will want to miss!

The 2019 Homecoming Parade is on October 18th at 5:45pm, downtown Iowa City. We will be needing volunteers from 4pm-9pm. Students, staff and faculty are invited to volunteer and be a part of the Homecoming Parade. A sign up form to volunteer will be published soon!
